Pretoria – The Tswane Ministry's Water and Sanitation Department will assume the relocation of existing water pipelines for the Olievenhoutbosch Road and Louwlardia Extension 36 K220 on Tuesday (March 25, 2025).
“The relocation work will be necessary due to the need to widen the roads,” explained Tshwane city.
“The pipe will then be relocated to the new road reserve, making it convenient for maintenance purposes.”
Water supply disruptions are avoided, but the city of Tshwane warned that this could occur from time to time between 08:00 and 18:00 in the following area and business amenities.

The city of Tshwane has urged residents to make the next water conservation measure part of their normal lifestyle.
Do not water or irrigate your garden with José Pipes or sprinkler systems between 06:00 and 18:00. Do not wash the vehicle with Hosepipes. Don't fill in the pool. Residents are also urged to continue washing their gardens and water using grey water.
Residents should report water leaks, burst pipes, and all incidents in which water is wasted.

If possible, install the low-flow shower head and tap the aerator. Use a dual flush toilet reservoir. Plant in your garden with indigenous or drought-resistant shrubs. When cleaning driveways and patios, use a broom instead of a José pipe. Collect rainwater and reuse it in your garden or wash your car. Cover the swimming pool to reduce water evaporation. Take a shower instead of a bath. Close any running taps while brushing and shaving your teeth. Check your toilets and taps regularly.
